A Plus Accounting is a family business based in North Canterbury. Our mission is to make tax easier and to bridge the gap between the Inland Revenue and ordinary people.  We make time to chat to you about your situation and needs. We support you by helping you understand and meet your tax obligations, as well as offer practical book keeping solutions.  We look at the whole picture in order to minimise your tax payable across all your entities.  Our philosophy of offering quality accounting advice and services at affordable prices is an integral part of what makes A Plus Accounting so successful.  We also offer a mobile service where required. 

Karla started working for A Plus Accounting on a casual basis at age 15.  Years later, when her children were preschoolers, she came back to take on a more permanent role, before becoming the Office Manager in 2011.  Karla has a Bachelor in Teaching and Learning, as well as a Diploma of Business in Accounting which rounds out her extensive experience and knowledge of Tax legislation. Karla is the Principal Accountant and business owner of A Plus Accounting and is a registered tax agent at the Inland Revenue. 

Debra started A Plus Accounting in 1984 and was the Principal Accountant and business owner until 2023. With over 40 years of accounting expertise, Debra has seen and heard it all and brings a wealth of information and experience that makes A Plus Accounting different. Debra is available for business consultations or discussions on technical tax issues.
